BAD REVIEWS ON YELP
STAY AWAY. This man, Gerard Van Weyenbergh is 100% a con artist and I urge you not to trust him under any circumstances. He scammed my father out of $15,000 of his hard earned money: he was supposed to write a dossier which he never delivered, and all we got from him were a bunch of worthless emails and months of wasted time. He has NO knowledge of art whatsoever and will just give you empty promises and take your money. Again I want to reiterate that he took FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS from us and did NOTHING for us in return. Based on the other reviews it appears that we are not the only people he has scammed and I fully believe what the other reviewers said. PLEASE do not fall for his scam and if you want proof please reach out to my father at fostovar@ icloud dot com and he will send you all the documents. We were going to sue him but it wasn't worth all the lawyer fees so the least we can do is make sure that no one else is harmed by this horrible man.
PS his "gallery/office" is just a mail drop box in Beverly Hills, not even a real office.
Extremely unperfessional, took very little time in looking into my artwork, 10 whole minutes. This so called gentleman has no authority to authenticate anything. Your the one that's 300% fake and that is a sound opinion that I stand behind!

MY RESPONSE
Beverly Hills December 20-2024
At www.vwart.com, we are proud to have served over 3,000 satisfied clients in the past
25 years, building a reputation as a trusted art expert globally. As the #2-ranked "art
expert" on Google worldwide, we are committed to professionalism, integrity, and
excellence in every aspect of our work.
While we have an overwhelmingly positive history, we understand that a few negative
reviews on Yelp might raise questions. These reviews—just 3 or 4 out of thousands—
often come from individuals we have not worked with, possibly competitors, or from
those disappointed by outcomes beyond our control, such as external authentication
decisions.
Additionally, it’s important to highlight that we have helped hundreds of individuals free
of charge, offering guidance and support to those in need of art expertise without
expecting anything in return. This commitment to giving back reflects our passion for art
and our belief in creating a fair and supportive art community.
Our success and client relationships speak louder than a few isolated criticisms. If you
ever have questions or concerns, we encourage you to reach out to us directly. Open
communication is the foundation of our work, and we’re always here to assist.
Thank you for trusting VW Art with your passion for fine art.
Warm regards,
Gerard Van Weyenbergh
